Phosphor Bronze Round Core Set

These strings were developed with the goal of providing a richer, fuller sound while also offering top-level sustain. The unique quality of these strings stems from two innovative choices: the use of a phosphor bronze alloy and the distinctive geometry of the string’s core.

The RC148 features a round core design. The round section of the core, around which the winding is spiralled, creates a single, uniform body that resonates more powerfully, with greater dynamics, and, most importantly, for a longer duration. The exceptional qualities of the RC148 are due to the absence of any gaps between the core and the winding. This prevents air from entering and dampening the sound vibration or affecting it in any way. Additionally, this design minimises the impact of hand perspiration, which can otherwise lead to premature oxidation.
