Godin SA A5 Fretless (Pre-owned)

This is a really nice semi acoustic fretless that plays with a low action and has all the sound character that you would expect. This is one of the early versions of this bass with the later ones including a magnetic pickup and a long thumb rest. We like this version better…

Condition:

Condition is good with some minimal player wear and a couple of marks here and there. We always take a lot of pictures so please have a good look at the pictures here for a better idea of condition. 

*The bass has a very fine mark in the lacquer on the bottom where it’s been put down over the years. Non structural and purely cosmetic, in fact you can hardly see it.

Summary:

This bass plays and sounds great and has all the ability to sound like an electric fretless bass, an acoustic bass and something approaching an upright. A really good all rounder. 

This particular bass has had work done in its life to improve the action, which is currently quite low, very comfortable and really nice for this kind of bass.

Comments:

A really nice semi acoustic fretless bass with surprising versatility. It can do the obvious fretless stuff really well and also step towards a more jazzy upright tone too. It also has the ability to connect to a Roland type MIDI device via a 13 pin socket for even more options!
